Anne-Mette Rasmussen, First Lady of Denmark (wife of Prime Minister)
Anne-Mette Rasmussen (b. 1958) is perhaps best known as the woman who is married to former Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen. Since she has been Natogeneralsekretær-wife, but Anne-Mette Rasmussen is much more than that.
She is a trained educator and has worked with children through a number of years. She also took part in TV2’s audience success “Strictly Come Dancing” where she and dancer Thomas Evers Poulsen danced into the hearts of Denmark.
Anne-Mette has also been letterbox editor of the weekly Family Records. She received the 2009 SAMFO’s Family Award for positive contributions to the debate on children and family.
