Touré Lobbo Traoré, First Lady of Mali

She entered the school in 1962, and performs Basic First Round in Bandiagara, Niafunké and Dire.

In 1969, she starts the Graduate Fundamental Mopti, where she obtained the Diploma of Fundamental Studies (RES) in 1972.

In 1973, she enrolled in the Secondary School of Health (ESS) in Bamako, where she graduated in 1976 the Diploma Midwife state, with honors

Ms. Touré began his professional career in 1977 first as a Trainee Midwife. It will soon be assigned a permanent appointment in 1978 as a Midwife at the Maternity Teaching Camp I, Bamako. She became Mistress Midwife in 1991.

During the Democratic Transition in Mali (March 26, 1991 to June 08, 1992), it will be alongside her husband, Lieutenant-Colonel Amadou Toumani Toure, President of the Transition Hi For the People (CTSP).

Throughout her career, Ms. Toure will continue to develop and explore new areas:

March-April 2001: Development Seminar in Computer Science (Winword 2000, Excel 2000) at ISB.

December 2000: Participation in the Fourth Congress of the African Society of Obstetricians Gynecologists (SAGO) in Ouagadougou.

1999: Training on Procedures Services for Reproductive Health and Family Planning.

December 1999: Participation in the Fourth Congress of the Society of ENT and Neck Surgery of Francophone Africa (SORLAF) in Bamako.

1998: Training continues on Reproductive Health.

1996: Training on Perinatal.

1993: Theory and Practice at the National Family and Planning (Centre for Training and Retraining in Tunisia). Holds a Certificate in Family Planning and Birth Spacing and Training of Trainers.

January-March 1988: Internship at the Regional Training Centre in Family Health for Africa (Grapefruit – Mauritius). Holder of a Certificate of Competence in Training and Regulation of Fertility.

May-June 1981: Course Recycling in Family Health at Family Health Division (FSD) in Bamako (Mali).

Ms. Toure Lobbo Traore leads a very active community life:

Delegate President of the Foundation for Children’s Fund (EPF).

Member of the Association of Midwives of Mali

Member of the Association of Sickle Cell Disease Patients of Mali.

Honorary President of the Association for Social Development of Women and Children (ADSFM).

Adept at reading and Culinary Art, Madame Toure Lobbo Traore is dedicated to the children she and her Husband have great love.
