Marta Linares, First Lady of Panama

Born in Panama City, Panama in 1956. Daughter of Francisco José Linares (political Panamenista), brother in turn Arias Ana Matilde Linares, the first wife of Dr. Arnulfo Arias.

She studied primary and secondary education in the International College of Mary Immaculate. Admitted to the Trade in Saint Mary of the Woods College in Indiana in the United States and later acquired the license and Insurance Brokerage at the University of Panama.

In 1978 she married Ricardo Martinelli Berrocal and had three children: Ricardo Alberto, 29, Luis Enrique, 27 and Caroline Elizabeth, 20.

She founded the Women’s Front Party Democratic Change, which aims to make medical tours and social care in underserved communities. She is also President of the Foundation of Ricardo Martinelli.

Currently serves as the Insurance Broker Independent.
